Story Series allows authors to group related stories together into dedicated cinematic Series pages complete with custom artwork, chapter ordering, and improved navigation tools for readers.

📚 Dedicated Series Pages

Every Series now has its own dedicated public page inspired by Story Thyme’s cinematic Story page layout.

Series pages include:

• Custom Series banners and icons
• Series descriptions and metadata
• Story listings using Story Thyme’s card layout
• Total combined view tracking
• Genre and rating information
• Support for both public and private Series

Readers can now browse connected stories from a single location instead of manually searching for the next chapter.

🧩 Organize Stories in Reading Order

Story creators can organize stories into chronological or recommended reading order using the new drag-and-drop Series Editor.

This makes it easier to build:

• Episodic visual novels
• Multi-part adventures
• Connected story universes
• Alternate route collections
• Season-based story releases

Stories inside a Series also now display notices informing readers when a story belongs to a larger collection.

This creates a smoother reading experience and helps readers naturally continue to the next chapter.

🎭 New Theater Comments

Version 1.9.0 also introduces a brand-new Theater Comments system.

Readers can now discuss stories directly from the Theater page without leaving the reading experience.

The new system includes:

• Live comment refreshing
• Comment voting
• Comment flagging tools
• Improved Theater engagement features

This update helps make Story Thyme stories feel more social and community-driven while keeping readers immersed in the story itself.

👤 Dashboard & Profile Improvements

To support the new Series system, Dashboard and profile pages have also been expanded.

Creators now have access to:

• A dedicated “Your Series” section on Dashboard
• New Series cards with metadata and artwork
• Published Series sections on public profiles

This makes it easier for readers to discover larger story collections and ongoing projects from their favorite creators.

⚡ Performance & Platform Improvements

Story Thyme 1.9.0 also includes a wide range of platform improvements behind the scenes.

This includes upgraded ad loading behavior, reduced duplicate script execution, improved lower-page loading consistency, and additional usability improvements across the site.
