A Fresh New Experience on Story Thyme

Story Thyme has been redesigned with a cleaner interface, a new asset system, audio previews, and improved creation tools across the platform.

A Fresh New Experience on Story Thyme

Story Thyme has received a major update focused on improving how you create, browse, and manage your stories. This update introduces a cleaner interface, a more powerful asset system, and several quality-of-life improvements designed to make the platform easier and more enjoyable to use.

Whether you're building a new story or exploring resources, everything should now feel faster, more organized, and more intuitive.

✨ A Cleaner, More Consistent Interface

Many areas of the site have been redesigned to create a more unified and modern experience. Pages like the homepage, story listings, resources, and profiles now share a consistent layout and improved spacing, making it easier to navigate and find what you're looking for.

The updated card system ensures that content displays cleanly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

🎨 A Better Way to Add and Manage Assets

The new Add Assets modal makes it much easier to browse and select resources while working in the editor. Assets now load faster, support pagination, and are easier to search.

Audio and sound effects can now be previewed directly in the browser, so you can quickly find the right sound without leaving your workflow.

🎵 Built-In Audio Player

Audio previews now include a built-in player with playback controls, allowing you to play, pause, scrub through audio, loop tracks, and review timing before adding them to your story.

This makes working with music and sound effects much more efficient and precise.

🔍 Improved Filtering and Search

Filtering has been redesigned to be more intuitive and responsive. Active filters are now displayed clearly and can be removed instantly, making it easier to refine your search.

Search has also been improved, especially for audio and sound effects, which now support searching by both name and theme.

🌙 Editor Dark Mode

A new dark mode is now available in the editor settings. This provides a more comfortable editing experience, especially during longer sessions, with improved contrast and reduced brightness.

🧭 Smarter Navigation

Navigation across the platform has been improved, including smarter back button behavior that returns you to the correct page whether you're browsing resources, viewing profiles, or exploring the library.

🚀 Ongoing Improvements

This update also includes a wide range of smaller improvements and fixes to performance, layout consistency, and overall usability.

These changes are part of an ongoing effort to make Story Thyme a powerful and intuitive platform for creators of all experience levels.

More features and improvements are already in development. Thank you for being part of Story Thyme 💜
